New Rows Chapel

New Rows Chapel at the Junction of Victoria Road, Blue House Lane and Heworth Road

We'll now turn right from Victoria Road and head North into Heworth Road.

Heading North again:  St. Bede's School and Douglas Terrace (distant, right).

Douglas Terrace was called 'The Flat Tops' by the Local Community.

The Turning into Tyne Gardens, then it's High Row, St. Bede's School and Douglas Terrace, 1955.
A Children's Playground stood in front of High Row, just around the corner.

The Burn, a Tributary of the River Don, ran under this road and headed East between the Playground and High Row.
