PELAW JUNCTION - March 2012
The Main Line from Newcastle to Sunderland.
The Leamside Line branches right to Washington passing Wardley, Follingsby and Usworth Collieries en route.
The Tyne & Wear Metro continues to Sunderland and also crosses over the Main Line to South Shields.
It's approximately 2 miles along the Main Line to the site of the former Springwell Station
