Pigeon Keeper - aka Pigeon 'Fancier'

Lots of Miners were Pigeon Fanciers and brightly coloured Crees (pigeon lofts) were much in abundance, especially in council allotments.
John's Dad's Cree was directly over The Burn from our front window in Don Gardens.  It stood next to my Dad's allotment.

Laura & I own an original version of this 1970s Figurine.  We bought it from Robert Olley's Workshop on Armstrong Ind. Est.
