NOTE:
The original Victoria Hotel was located in Victoria Place, Biddick, near Washington Iron Works
and Washington South Railway Junction - which led to Consett or Victoria Bridge.
It lost its licence in 1936 and was later turned into a Temperance Bar.

When The Villa at Oxclose Rd / Fatfield Rd Junction - owned by the Cooks -
was demolished, the present Victoria Hotel was built.
