Note Penshaw Bridge ( now known as Fatfield Bridge ) over the River Wear.
Fatfield Bridge & The Biddick Inn viewed from Worm Hill.
The small Gem Cinema ( formerly North Biddick Colliery Miners' Hall ) can be seen just above the centre of the Bridge.
Gem Cinema later became a warehouse for NEDS - North East Direct Supply, a 'Pop' delivery company.
We had our Lemonade, Sarsaparilla etc. delivered by them to our house in Don Gardens.
