About the above Map

1. This map shows Washington, Great Usworth, Little Usworth, Harraton & North Biddick in the year 1702.
2. There appears to be a lot of Glebe on this map.  ( Glebe: land that provides income to the local church and its rector. )
3. Don't confuse the church shown above with the present church at High Usworth.  Holy Trinity was built circa 1832.
