Information from Respected Sources
Tommy Craggs took 3 Days to complete the Sculpture of The Eagle.  The cost was £2,500.
The Sculpture was funded by Washington Village in Bloom Group, with a
kind Donation from the Friends of Washington Old Hall.
( American Bald Eagles adorn the Steps of The Hall. )
 
The Sculpture's dark colouring was achieved by adding clear oil.
The Tree was 200 Years old.
